Married, educated, domesticated. I really enjoy the friends I've met through a variety of different message boards and venues regarding reading and authors.
I try to take a positive view when I write reviews but sometimes I can't. Those times are few and far between, but they do exist. I'm mostly an old softy, though. I think so anyway.
I saw this series had high ratings and hoped for a second cowboy erotica to enjoy. No such luck. SAble Hunter is no Lorelei James. The story is just a rickety frame for a bunch of sex. Some might think that's what erotica is, but I think many of us have a different expectation ... because we've seen better. The sex scenes don't even cut it. There's no real engagement in the interludes, maybe because they're filled with so much purple prose you don't even want to read them. So the story is unlikable, the intimacy is unenjoyable and the characters are meh.
I was considering DNFing this one, but I decided to skim to the end. I will not be continuing this series.
